N2-joukkue jäi lähtötelineisiin sunnuntaina

19.11. Naisten 2-sarja lähti pelaamaan vuoden viimeistä vieraspeliään Nurmoon, joukkueen passari Pinja kertoo kuinka peli eteni:

Peli lähti meidän osalta vähän jäisesti liikkeelle. Ei saatu peliä käyntiin ja vastustaja taas aloitti pelin kovaa. Tehtiin omia tyhmiä virheitä. Eka erä vastustajalle 25-14.

Toisessa erässä meidän peli näytti samalta kuin ekassa erässäkin. Jymy tuli entistä vahvemmin ja se hajotti meidän peliä. Alussa tilanne oli vastustajalle 9-1. Alettiin kirimään tilannetta, mutta se ei riittänyt. Toinen erä myös vastustajalle 25-15.

Kolmanteen erään lähdettiin uudella asenteella ja tappomeiningillä. Aloitettiin erä vahvasti, eikä päästetty vastustajaa mukaan. Peli oli meille 5-1. Jymy alkoi tulla peliin mukaan ja kulki koko erän aivan perässä. Iisa Pieviläinen hoiti mahtavasti liberon tontin ja napsi pallot peliin. Saatiin myös vahvalla hyökkäyksellä ja syötöllä taisteltua kolmas erä meille 25-23.

Neljänteen erään lähdettiin samalla asenteella. Alku erä oli tasaista taistelua, mutta Jymyn kova syöttö hajotti meidän vastaanottoa. Taisteltiin loppuun asti. Kentällä nähtiin mahtavaa verkkopelaamista meidän keskitorjujalta Ilona Kopfilta.  Myös Inka Siekkinen antoi pallolle kovaa kättä. Siitä huolimatta Jymy lähti pikkuhiljaa karkaamaan 12-11 tilanteesta. Viimeinen erä vastustajalle 25-16.

Peli vastustajalle 3-1. Tästä ei ole kuin suunta ylöspäin. Ensi viikko treenataan kovaa ja sunnuntaina 26.11. peli kotisalissa. Vastustaja meille saapuu Laihialta.

N2 team remained at the starting line on Sunday

November 19th. The Women’s 2nd Division played their last away game of the year in Nurmo. The team’s setter, Pinja, shares how the game unfolded:

The game started a bit sluggishly for us. We couldn’t get our game going, and the opponent began the match strongly. We made our own silly mistakes. The first set went to the opponent 25-14.

In the second set, our game looked the same as in the first set. Jymy came even stronger, breaking down our game. At the beginning, the score was 9-1 for the opponent. We started to catch up, but it wasn’t enough. The second set also went to the opponent 25-15.

We approached the third set with a new attitude and a fighting spirit. We started the set strongly and didn’t let the opponent in. The score was 5-1 for us. Jymy started to get into the game, but we stayed ahead throughout the set. Iisa Pieviläinen did a fantastic job as the libero, getting the balls in play. With strong attacks and serves, we fought our way to win the third set 25-23.

In the fourth set, we started with the same attitude. The beginning of the set was a close battle, but Jymy’s strong serves disrupted our reception. We fought until the end. On the court, we saw excellent net play from our middle blocker, Ilona Kopf. Inka Siekkinen also delivered powerful hits. Despite our efforts, Jymy gradually pulled away from the 12-11 situation. The final set went to the opponent 25-16.

The game ended 3-1 in favor of the opponent. There’s only one direction from here, and that’s upward. We’ll train hard next week, and on Sunday, November 26th, we have a game in our home arena. The opponent visiting us is from Laihia.
