Miten Ukoille kävi Kristiinankaupungissa?

“Matkamme kävi viime sunnuntaina Kristiinankaupunkiin Kristiinan Vesan 110-vuotis juhlapeliin Vaasan Kiistoa vastaan.” Joukkueen pelaaja Konsta Luttinen kertoo kuinka peli sujui:

Ekassa erässä peli on oli vähän sekavaa. Pelasimme jopa viiden pelaajan variaatiolla parisen palloa, mutta onneksemme tuomaristo ei huomannut tätä. Erä päättyi Kiisto voittoon 25-17.

Toisessa erässä meillä oli vastaanoton kanssa ongelmia, mutta paransimme peliä loppua kohti. Koitimme kiriä erän lopussa, mutta se ei riittänyt ja Kiisto voitti erän 25-17-

Kolmannessa erässä pelasimme päivän parasta peliä. Peli kulki, mutta erä päättyi lopulta 23-25 Kiisto voittoon. Eli koko peli meni Vaasan Kiistolle 3-0.

Pelin parhaaksi pelaajaksi valittiin Plokilta Otto Hautanen ja Kiistolta Sakari Ahonen. Opimme taas tästä pelistä ja nyt suuntaamme katseet tulevaan HUKI peliin, joka pelataan kahden viikon kuluttua.

“Our journey took us to Kristiinankaupunki last Sunday for Kristiinan Vesa’s 110th-anniversary game against Vaasan Kiisto.” Team player Konsta Luttinen shares how the game went:

In the first set, the game was a bit chaotic. At times, we played with even five different player variations for a couple of points, but fortunately, the referees didn’t notice. The set ended with Kiisto winning 25-17.

In the second set, we had issues with reception, but we improved our play as the set went on. We tried to make a comeback towards the end of the set, but it wasn’t enough, and Kiisto won the set 25-17.

In the third set, we played our best game of the day. The game was flowing, but the set eventually ended with Kiisto winning 23-25. So, the whole game went to Vaasan Kiisto with a score of 3-0.

The best player of the game was selected from Ploki, Otto Hautanen, and from Kiisto, Sakari Ahonen. We learned from this game, and now we are focusing on the upcoming HUKI game, which will be played in two weeks.”
