A-tytöt uuden valmentajan johdolla pelaamaan!
A-tytöt kävivät paukuttelemassa palloa Lapualla turnauksessa 28.10 uuden valmentajan Mikon johdolla. Lue miten Inka Rajala kuvailee pelin kulkua:
Päivä alkoi hieman kiireellä sillä navigaattori ohjasi umpikujaan jo valmiiksi myöhässä olevaa ryhmärämäämme.
Ensimmäinen peli kuitenkin alkoi menestyksekkäästi Ak/Lapvia vastaan. Paljon liikettä ja omien hyvien suoritusten kautta ensimmäinen erä päättyi 25-17 meille. Toinen erä lähti samalla pössiksellä ja erä fiksuilla ratkaisuilla 25-14 meille.
Seuraavan pelin ensimmäinen erä Puwoa vastaan lähti aluksi tasaisesti kunnes tilanteessa 13-13 Puwo kiristi otteita ja otti johdon 21-13. Notkahduksen jälkeen saimme kuitenkin oman pelin hyvin kasaan mutta erä meni vastustajalle 25-19. Toinen erä lähti myös vastustajan johdolla käyntiin. Oma peli oli hieman vaisua ja vastustaja oli jopa 17-10 johdossa. Ohjeeksi saimme että olkaa ilkeitä ja ryhtiliikkeen jälkeen alkoi kova kiri. Erä kääntyi jäätävän kovan taistelun jälkeen meille 25-23. Kolmas erä lähti hyvillä mielin käyntiin ja taistelua riitti tilanteeseen 11-12 kunnes Puwo päätti ottaa erän loput pisteet 15-11 ja voitti pelin erin 2-1.
Viimeinen peli oli Jujua vastaan. Hyvistä suorituksista huolimatta ensimmäisessä erässä vastustaja piti koko ajan pientä johtoasemaa. Jujulla oli eräpallo tilanne 24-21 jolloin päätimme ottaa erän loput pisteet ja käännettiin erä varmalla tekemisellä meille 26-24. Toisessa erässä oli paljon fiksuja ratkaisuja mutta erä meni kuitenkin vastustajan johdossa ja päättyi heille 25-22. Vikassa erässä taisteltiin joka pisteestä mutta vastustaja otti erävoiton 15-12 ja vei ottelun voiton erin 2-1.
Päivä oli kokonaisuutena erinomainen parannus viime turnauksesta. Pelasimme joukkueena ja taistelimme jokaisesta pisteestä loppuun asti. Päivään mahtui paljon ässiä, kaappitorjuntoja, kovia hyökkäyksiä ja upeita puolustuksia.
Seuraavan kerran tällä joukkueella 18.11 jatketaan pelaamista.
A-girls under a new coach and ready to play!
The A-junior girls had a ball-blasting day in Lapua at a tournament on October 28th, under the guidance of their new coach, Mikko.
The day started a bit rushed as the navigation system led our already late group into a dead-end street.
However, the first game against Ak/Lapvi began successfully. There was a lot of movement, and with some excellent performances, we won the first set 25-17. The second set continued in the same vein, with smart decisions, and we won it 25-14.
In the next game, the first set against Puwo started evenly until, at 13-13, Puwo tightened their grip and took the lead at 21-13. Despite a dip, we managed to regroup and put up a good fight, but the set ended in favor of the opponents at 25-19. The second set also began with the opponent leading. Our performance was somewhat lackluster, and the opponent even had a 17-10 lead. We were advised to be more aggressive, and after a strong comeback, we managed to turn the set in our favor at 25-23. The third set started well, and the battle continued until the score was 11-12. However, Puwo decided to take the remaining points and won the match 2-1.
The final game was against Juju. Despite some good performances, the opponent held a slight lead throughout the first set. Juju had a set point situation at 24-21, but we decided to take the remaining points and secured the set 26-24. In the second set, there were many smart decisions, but the set went in favor of the opponent, ending at 25-22. In the decisive third set, we fought for every point, but the opponent took the set 15-12 and won the match 2-1.
The day, on the whole, was an excellent improvement from the last tournament. We played as a team and fought for every point until the end. The day included many aces, strong blocks, powerful attacks, and excellent defenses.
