Sunnuntaina 29.1. Plokin N2-joukkueella oli kotisalissa tuplapelit. Näin pelaaja Pinja Leppinen kuvailee niiden vaiheita.

Ensimmäisessä pelissä vastaan asettui LaihLu / Karhu A -yhdistelmäjoukkue. Peliin lähdettiin voittamaan hyvillä fiiliksillä.

Ensimmäinen erä meni melkeinpä kokonaan siinä, että päästiin peliin mukaan. Koko erän ajan tilanne oli hyvin tasainen. Siitä huolimatta voitimme erän 25–20.

Toiseen erään lähdettiin kovempaa. Erä oli meidän hallussa. Päästiin omalle tasolle pelaamaan ja teimme kovia syöttöputkia sekä hyökkäyksiä. Kovien hyökkäyksien avulla saimme rikottua vastustajan puolustusta ja Ilona Hietalan hienon syöttöputken avulla vastustajan vastaanotto heikkeni. Erä meille siis selvästi 25–15.

Kolmanteen erään vastustaja tuli kovaa ja erä jatkui tasaisena taistona. Passipeli pyöri hyvin ja saimme monipuolisten hyökkäysten avulla tehtyä paljon omia pisteitä. Erän edetessä pelimme parani koko ajan ja pikkuhiljaa nousimme tasatilanteesta selvään johtoasemaan. Viimeinen erä meille myös 25–15. Peli meille siis 3–0 ja täydet pisteet kotiin!

Parhaiksi pelaajiksi valittiin LaihLu / Karhu A -joukkueesta Veera Pitkäranta ja meidän joukkueesta palloa kovaa tappanut Sara Piippo.

Hyvä meininki jatkui toisessa pelissä

Pienen lepo- ja ruokatauon jälkeen oli aika laittaa pelitossut takaisin jalkaan ja pelata toinen peli LaihLu / Karhu A:ta vastaan. Toiseen peliin lähdimme yhtä kovalla voitonhalulla kuin ensimmäiseenkin.

Aloituserä lähti käyntiin hyvällä meiningillä ja pelaamisella. Vastaanotto ja puolustus olivat meillä kunnossa, joten vastustajan oli vaikea tehdä pisteitä. Pelissä nähtiin hienoja tappohyökkäyksiä mm. Silja Kanaselta ja Inka Siekkiseltä. Meillä oli hyvä ote pelistä, ja saimme pidettyä johtoasemamme koko erän läpi. Eka erä päättyi meille 25–17.

Toinen erä alkoi tuttuun tapaan tiukalla väännöllä. Kentällä nähtiin fiksuja hyökkäyksiä, mutta siitä huolimatta teimme paljon omia virheitä. Tilanteessa 18–18 vastustaja alkoi pelata vähemmän virheetöntä peliä, jonka seurauksena erä vastustajalle 25–22.

Kolmannen erän alussa meillä oli pieni johtoasema, mutta erän edetessä vastustaja alkoi pelata varmemmin ja annoimme vastustajalle paljon pisteitä omilla virheillä.

Neljäs erä lähti käyntiin Veera Olkkosen pommisyötöillä ja omalla kovalla hyökkäyksellä. Syöttöputki jatkui tilanteeseen 8–0 asti. Emme päästäneet vastustajaa ollenkaan peliin mukaan. Pidimme oman tason korkealla läpi erän, ja paukuteltiin vastustajan puolustus rikki mahtavilla hyökkäyksillä. Kannustusta ja iloista mieltä huokui kentältä ja vaihtopenkiltä koko erän ajan. Erä meille selvästi 25–12.

Viidenteen erään lähdettiin entistä kovemmalla asenteella, vaikka jaloissa painoi monet erät. Alku lähti tasaisena, mutta tilanteessa 2–2 jätimme vastustajan taakse. Taistelimme joka pallon täysillä loppuun ja uskalsimme lyödä kovaa. Syöttö pysyi varman kovana, eikä tyhmiä virheitä tullut ollenkaan. Erä päättyi meille mahtavasti 15–5.

Kahden viimeisen hienon erän ansiosta peli meille 3–2.

Parhaiksi pelaajiksi palkittiin LaihLu / Karhu A -joukkueesta yleispelaaja Anni-Mari Järviö ja meidän joukkueesta 18 pistettä tehnyt kapteeni Silja Kananen.

N2 took great Double wins at home

Sunday 29.1. Plok’s N2 team had double games at home. This is how player Pinja Leppinen describes their stages.

In the first game, the LaihLu / Karhu A combined team faced off. We went into the game with good feelings to win.

The first set was almost entirely about getting into the game. During the entire set, the situation was very even. Nevertheless, we won the set 25–20.

The second set started harder. The lot was in our possession. We were able to play at our own level and made hard passes and attacks. With the help of hard attacks, we were able to break the opponent’s defense, and with the help of Ilona Hietala‘s fine pass, the opponent’s reception weakened. So the set was  clearly 25–15 for us.

In the third set, the opponent came hard and the set continued as an even battle. The passing game went well and we were able to score a lot of our own points with the help of versatile attacks. As the set progressed, our game improved all the time and little by little we rose from a tie to a clear lead. The last set for us also 25–15. So a 3–0 game for us and full points for home!

Veera Pitkäranta from the LaihLu / Karhu A team and Sara Piippo from our team, who killed the ball hard, were chosen as the best players.

The good mood continued in the second game

After a small rest and food break, it was time to put the game shoes back on and play another game against LaihLu / Karhu A. We started the second game with just as much desire to win as we did the first.

The opening set started with a good mood and playing. Our reception and defense were fine, so it was difficult for the opponent to score points. The game saw great kill attacks, e.g. from Silja Kananen and Inka Siekkinen. We had a good grip on the game and were able to maintain our lead throughout the set. The first period ended 25–17 for us.

As usual, the second set started with a tight twist. There were some smart attacks on the field, but despite that we made a lot of our own mistakes. At 18–18, the opponent started to play a less flawless game, which resulted in a 25–22 set for the opponent.

At the beginning of the third set, we had a small lead, but as the set progressed, the opponent started to play more confidently and we gave the opponent a lot of points with our own mistakes.

The fourth set started with Veera Olkkonen‘s bomb passes and his own hard attack. The streak continued until the score was 8–0. We didn’t let the opponent into the game at all. We kept our level high throughout the set, and smashed the opponent’s defense with great attacks. Encouraging and happy spirits were emanating from the field and from the bench throughout the set. The set is clearly 25–12 for us.

The fifth set was started with an even tougher attitude, even though many sets weighed on the legs. The start was even, but in a 2–2 situation we left the opponent behind. We fought every ball to the end and dared to hit hard. The input remained definitely hard, and there were no stupid mistakes at all. The set ended great for us 15–5.

Thanks to the last two great sets, the game is 3–2 for us.

LaihLu / Karhu A team’s general player Anni-Mari Järviö and our team’s captain Silja Kananen, who scored 18 points, were awarded as the best players.
