Suuri E-junioreiden turnaus Pihtiputaalla
Lauantaina 20.1 pelattiin E-tyttöjen KS A- ja B-pooliturnaukset Pihtipudas-salissa. Valmentaja Niina Hakonen kuvailee päivää:
Plokin pelaajilla päivä alkoi klo 11 ensimmäisellä pelillä Leppää vastaan. Tytöt pelasivat rohkeasti omaa peliään, peli Plokille 2-0.
Seuraavana vuorossa oli tuomarointivuoro, jonka jälkeen tytöt pelasivat kaksi seuraavaa peliä peräkkäin.
Päivän toinen peli oli Korpy Karhuja vastaan. Tyttöjen peli oli hiukan ailahtelevaa ja syöttövirheiden sävyttämää, mutta voitto kaivettiin matkaan 2-1.
Kolmanteen ja päivän viimeiseen peliin lähtiessä oli väsymystä ilmassa, mutta niin vaan tytöt saivat jalat liikkeelle ja rohkeita suorituksia aikaiseksi. Jyle/Violetti oli kova vastus hienoilla suorituksillaan, mutta tytöt käänsivät pelin nimiinsä pelaamalla päivän parasta peliä. Peli Plokille 2-0.
Kahden lohkon turnaus, 8 joukkuetta, 12 toinen toistaan tiukempaa peliä, paljon iloisia ilmeitä sekä onnistumisia. Kokonaisuudessaan hieno päivä.
The big E-juniors tournament in Pihtipudas
On Saturday, January 20, the E-girls’ KS A- and B-pool tournaments were played at the Pihtipudas Hall. Coach Niina Hakonen describes the day:
The day for Ploki players began at 11 am with the first game against Leppä. The girls played their own game confidently, resulting in a 2-0 victory for Ploki.
Next in line was a refereeing shift, after which the girls played two consecutive games.
The second game of the day was against Korpy Bears. The girls’ performance was a bit inconsistent and marked by serving errors, but they managed to secure a 2-1 victory.
Heading into the third and final game of the day, there was some fatigue in the air. Nevertheless, the girls got their legs moving and produced brave performances. Jyle/Violetti proved to be a tough opponent with impressive plays, but the girls turned the game in their favor by playing their best game of the day. The match ended with a 2-0 victory for Ploki.
An eight-team tournament with two pools, 12 closely contested games, lots of happy faces, and successes. Overall, it was a great day.
