Plokin naiset Jyväskylässä
Aluesarjan naiset pelasivat vuoden viimeisen turnauksensa sunnuntaina Jyväskylässä. Laura Kumpulainen kertoo miten naisten kävi:
Ensimmäiseen peliin vastaan asettui Jyle. Ensimmäinen erä hyvällä meiningillä ja tekemisen tasolla meille 25-21. Vastustaja sai kuitenkin hyvällä syötöllään vaikeutettua meidän pelaamista ja seuraavat kaksi erää heille. Lopputulos Ploki -JyLe 1-2 (25-21, 18-25, 16-25).
Toisessa pelissä oli vastassa viime kaudelta tuttu ViPa. Ekassa erässä syöttöpelaamisemme oli pehmeää ja vastustaja pääsi hyökkäämään hyviltä paikoilta, erä ViPalle. Tokassa erässä nostettiin omaa tekemisen tasoamme ja tästä erävoitto napsahtikin meille. Kolmannessa erässä oltiin pelissä hyvin mukana aina tilanteeseen 15-15 saakka, minkä jälkeen peli hieman takkuili ja vastustaja karkasi erävoittoon. Lopputulos ViPa – Ploki 2-1 (25-18, 16-25, 25-18).
Mainittakoon vielä, että toisessa pelissä koutsimme Miko antoi ohjeen mihin EI saa syöttää. Tilastot kertovat, että ainakin 9 kertaa annettua ohjetta ei noudatettu. Näin ollen Mikoa voi hieman närästää tienattujen kahvikupillisten jälkeen.
Plokis’ women in Jyväskylä
The women’s team in the regional series played their final tournament of the year on Sunday in Jyväskylä. Laura Kumpulainen tells how the games went:
For this tournament, familiar face Elli Huuskonen from the previous season joined the lineup.
In the first match, they faced Jyle. The first set went well for us with good vibes and performance, ending 25-21. However, the opponent complicated our game with good serving, winning the next two sets. The final result was Ploki – JyLe 1-2 (25-21, 18-25, 16-25).
In the second match, they encountered the familiar ViPa from the previous season. In the first set, our serving was soft, allowing the opponent to attack from good positions, and ViPa won the set. In the second set, we raised our level of play, securing the set victory. In the third set, we were in the game until the score was 15-15, after which the game stumbled a bit, and the opponent took the set victory. The final result was ViPa – Ploki 2-1 (25-18, 16-25, 25-18).
It is worth mentioning that in the second match, our coach Miko gave instructions on where NOT to serve. The statistics reveal that the advice was not followed at least 9 times. Therefore, Miko might be a bit upset after earning his coffee cups.
