A-tyttöjen turnauksessa pilkahduksia joukkueen hyvästä tekemisestä
A-tytöt kävivät Kausalassa pelaamassa, lue miten päivän pelit sujuivat:
Turnaukseen lähdettiin ajelemaan jo perjantai iltana. Yövyimme hotelli Sommelossa Kuusankoskella. Söimme lauantai aamuna hotellilla maittavan peliaamun aamupalan. Pelipaikalle lähdimme noin klo 9.20.
Pelipaikkalle saavuttuamme kävimme reippailemassa ja sitten alettiin lämppäämään ensimmäiseen peliin, joka oli Salon Viestiä vastaan.
Peli päättyi 2-0 Viestille.
Ensimmäinen erä lähti hyvin liikkeeelle, mutta erän edetessä peli rupesi rakoilemaan, joten ensimmäinen erä Viestille lukemin 25-15.
Toinen erä lähti vähän takkuisemmin. Kirittiin erän edetessä, mutta se ei kuitenkaan riittänyt erävoittoon, joten toinen erä Viestille 25-20.
Toinen peli oli Kausalaa vastaan ja se päättyi 2-0 Kausalalle.
Ensimmäisen erän alku oli heikompi ja osittain saatiinkin kirittyä, mutta se ei kuitenkaan riittänyt, joten erä Kausalalle 25-21.
Toisen erän alku alkoi samalla tavalla kuin ensimmäisen erän alku. Erän aikana annettiin omilla virheillä vastustajalle liikaa etumatkaa, joten sen seurauksena erä Kausalalle pistein 25-18.
Päivän kolmannessa pelissä vastaan asettui OrPo, joka otti meidän silmien edestä karvaan voiton lukemin 2-0.
Ensimmäinen erä oli alusta alkaen tiukkaa vääntöä, mutta erän loppupuolella pieni notkahdus kävi kohtaloksi, joten sen seurauksena erävoitto 25-22 OrPolle.
Toinen erä jatkui samalla tavalla tiukkana taistona. Erän keskivaiheilla tuli notkahdus, mutta kirimme hienosti Orpon 24-18 tilanteesta tilanteeseen 24-24 ja saimme Orpon erä- ja ottelupallo tilanteen poikki. Loppu erä oli hienoa ja tiukkaa vääntöä erävoitosta, mutta harmillisesti erä ei kääntynyt jatkopallotilanteesta meidän puolelle. Orpo voitti erän 28-26.
Päivän aikana oli välillä tosi hienoa peliä ja lähdemme pelaamaan sitä samaa peliä seuraavan turnaukseen ja jätetään sähläykset Kausalaan.

Glimpses of the A-girls’ team’s good performance in the tournament
The A-girls went to Kausala to play, read how the day’s games went:
We started our journey to the tournament on Friday evening. We stayed at Hotel Sommelo in Kuusankoski. On Saturday morning, we had a delicious game day breakfast at the hotel. We headed to the playing venue around 9:20.
Upon arrival at the venue, we went for a walk and then started warming up for the first game against Salon Viesti.
The game ended 2-0 in favor of Viesti.
The first set started well, but as it progressed, our game started to falter, so Viesti won the first set with a score of 25-15.
The second set started a bit more smoothly. We caught up as the set progressed, but it wasn’t enough for a set victory, so Viesti won the second set 25-20.
The second game was against Kausala, and it ended 2-0 in favor of Kausala.
The start of the first set was weaker, and although we managed to catch up to some extent, it wasn’t enough, so Kausala won the set 25-21.
The beginning of the second set was similar to the start of the first set. During the set, we gave the opponent too much of a lead with our own mistakes, resulting in Kausala winning the set 25-18.
In the third game of the day, we faced OrPo, who took a bitter victory from us with a score of 2-0.
The first set was a tough battle from the beginning, but a slight dip towards the end proved fatal, resulting in a set victory of 25-22 for OrPo.
The second set continued as a tight battle. In the middle of the set, there was a dip, but we managed to come back from OrPo’s 24-18 to tie at 24-24, and we had a chance to break OrPo’s set and match point. The end of the set was a fantastic and intense struggle for a set victory, but unfortunately, the set did not turn in our favor in the tiebreaker. OrPo won the set 28-26.
During the day, there were moments of really good play, and we will take that same game to the next tournament and leave the mistakes in Kausala.
