Asenneruuvin kiristäminen ei riittänyt
N2 pelasi sunnuntaina 12.3. viimeset pelit tälle kaudelle. Juonipaljastus tulossa…hävittiin molemmat pelit, kertoo Inka Siekkinen otteluraportissaan.
Päivän ekaan peliin lähettiin löysin rantein, ja se tuottikin tulosta ensimmäiset kaksi erää, peli oli nimittäin tasaista vääntöä. Ensimmäinen erä kääntyi omien syöttövirheiden takia kuitenki vastustajalle pistein 25–23. Toiseen erään käännettiin asenneruuvia hiukan kireämmälle ja lähdettiin erään ihan uudella asenteella. Erä lähti hyvin käyntiin ja otettiinkin muutaman pisteen etumatka, sitten kävi köpösti: meidän yleispelaaja Inka Rajala loukkasi nilkkansa ja peli stoppasi. Siitä onneksi selvittiin säikähdyksellä! Me pidettiin kuitenkin pää kylmänä ja hoideltiin erä loppuun asti hyvällä etumatkalla, vietiin erä siis 25–19!
Kolmas erä päätettiin päästellä samoilla tulilla…mutta ei…erä oli nopeasti ohi, ei siitä sitten sen enempää. ArVo oli ohjaksissa koko erän. Erä siis heille 25–12.
ArVo ohjaili myös neljättä erää selkeästi, ja palloa pisteltiin meidän kenttään ongelmitta. ArVo hyökkäsi rohkeasti ja syötti kovaa rikkoen meidän vastaanoton kokonaan. Neljäs eri siis ArVolle 25–10.
ArVo voitti pelin 3–1. Parhaina pelaajina palkittiin ArVolta Noora Kallinen (16p) ja meiltä Ilona Hietala (6p, joista 4 torjuntaa;))
Noh, kun tappion karvas maku alkoi hälvetä, oli aika suunnata katse kohti päivän seuraavaa peliä. Sekään ei kyllä mennyt ihan nappiin…
Toinen peli lähti tasaisesti käyntiin, ja me haastettiin ArVoa hyvin ja pysyttiin kannoilla koko ajan. Se ei ihan riittänyt, ja ensimmäinen erä ArVon nimiin 25–20.
Toiseen erään ArVo otti kiitettävän etumatkan, jota me ei enää saatu kiinni… sanotaanko näin, että meno oli aikas tahmeaa meidän kenttäpuoliskolla. Erä siis ArVolle 25–14.
Kolmannesta erästä ei paljoo sanottavaa jäänyt. Meno oli edellistäkin erää tahmeampaa ja ArVo vaan päästeli menemään läpi erän. Erä siis ArVolle murskalukemin 25–6. Peli siis ArVolle 3–0.
Erikoismainintana tahtoisin mainita meidän passarin Vilma Hietalahden, joka hyppäsi peliin mukaan toiseen peliin. Vilma passasi rohkeasti vaikeistakin paikoista ja levitti peliä hyvin. Ja Vilma syöttää ihan tajuttoman kovaa leijaa!!
Toisen pelin parhaina pelaajina palkittiin Anni Pohjanen (13p) ja meiltä Silja Kananen (11p).
Naisten kakkosarjalla alkoi nyt kesäloma ja pelihommia jatketaan sitten syksyllä, kun kausi 23–24 käynnistyy. Kiitos kaikille tällä kaudella mukana olleille pelaajille, valmentajille, taustajoukoille ja katsojille!💙 Ja kiitokset S-marketille parhaiden pelaajien palkinnoista 💙

Tightening the attitude screw was not enough
N2 played on Sunday the 12th of March last games for this season. Plot reveal coming…we lost both games, says Inka Siekkinen in her match report.
The first game of the day was sent with loose wrists, and it paid off in the first two sets, because the game was a constant struggle. The first set ended with the score 25–23 for the opponent due to their own serving errors. In the second set, the attitude screw was turned a little tighter and we started the set with a completely new attitude. The set started well and we took a lead of a few points, then things went wrong: our general player Inka Rajala injured her ankle and the game stopped. Fortunately, we were scared but luckily we survived. However, we kept our heads cool and took care of the set until the end with a good lead, so we won the set 25–19!
It was decided to start the third set with the same style…but no…the set was quickly over, and then nothing more. ArVo was in control the entire set. So the set is 25–12 for them.
ArVo also controlled the fourth set clearly, and the ball was poked into our court without any problems. ArVo attacked bravely and passed hard, breaking our reception completely. The fourth difference, therefore, for ArVo 25–10.
ArVo won the game 3–1. The best players were awarded to ArVo’s Noora Kallinen (16p) and our Ilona Hietala (6p, including 4 saves;))
Well, when the bitter taste of defeat started to fade, it was time to look towards the next game of the day. It didn’t quite go well either…
The second game started smoothly, and we challenged ArVo well and stayed on our heels the whole time. It wasn’t quite enough, and the first set went to ArVo 25–20.
In the second set, ArVo took a commendable lead, which we couldn’t catch again… let’s just say that the going was pretty sticky in our half of the field. So the set is 25–14 for ArVo.
There is not much left to say about the third set. The race was even stickier than the previous batch and ArVo just let it go through the batch. So the score for ArVo was 25–6. So the game was 3–0 for ArVo.
As a special mention, I would like to mention our passer Vilma Hietalahti, who jumped into the game in the second game. Vilma bravely passed even from difficult places and spread the game well. And Vilma flies an unbelievably hard kite!!
The best players of the second game were awarded to Anni Pohjanen (13p) and from us Silja Kananen (11p).
The women’s second division has now started its summer vacation, and the game work will then continue in the fall, when the 23-24 season starts. Thank you to all the players, coaches, support staff and spectators who participated this season!💙 And thanks to S-market for the best player awards 💙
