Bensan katku nenässä Haukiputaalla

Plokin N2-joukkueen peli eteni tänään vieraspelissä Haukiputaan Heittoa vastaan kuin lasketteluhissi, kirjoittaa yksi pelaajista, Iisa Pieviläinen.

Sunnuntain peli eteni iha niiku lasketteluhissi, ensi alotimma alhaalta, jonka jälkeen loppua kohti oltiinki jo ylhäällä. Eka erä lähti käyntiin ku 75-luvun Corolla Suomen pakkasissa, suomennettuna lahjoimme vastustajaa hurjin määrin omilla virheillämme.

Vaikka vastustajankin sormet olivat kohmeessa, meidän varpaat oli aivan umpijäässä. Pelitilanteen ollessa 8–21 pistettiin moottoriin jyrskettä ja uusittiin hyökkäyspeli. Vaihelaatikossa oli kuitenki jääkalikka, joka päätti ekan erän pisteisiin 19–25 kaverin Scanialle, joka kaasutti jo pitkin Nelostietä.

Toisessa erässä suurimmat viat saatiin huoltomiesten ansiosta korjattua, mutta meijän Corollan bensamittari oli uhkaavasti menossa alaspäin. Corollamme oli kiinni Scanian perässä ja hiillostus oli kuumaa, takaa-ajo jatkui koko erän, rinnalle päästyämme ohituskaistan loppu näkyi silmissä. Erä siis 20–25 kaverille.

Ennen kolmannen erän alkua kipaistiin tankilla. Tämän voimalla otettiin hurja etumatka kaverin Scaniaan, matka jatkui pitkään abauttia 5 pisteen johdolla. Corollan vaihdelaatikko alkoi pelittää, ennen tilannetta 17–11, jonka jälkeen Scania pistin kirjaimellisesti nastan lautaan. Kilpatoveri kiri rinnalle, jonka jälkeen ohi. Bensa loppu, jonka jälkeen jäätiin kuin nallit kalliolle, pieni bensan katku nenässä ja pistetaulussa 22–25.

Peli oli nousujohteista, pelillisesti näytimme kovia suorituksia, joita on tästä eteenpäin hyvä hioa vielä paremmiksi. Viime viikkoon parannuksena olimme kentällä joukkue, emme yksilöitä. Pelissä nähtiin mahtavia hyökkäyksiä, palloja kairattiin ylös ennen niiden maahan osumista ja vastaanotto parani viime viikosta.

Peli kaatui kaiken kaikkiaan omiin virheisiimme, sitä emme voi kiistää. Suurin osa virheistä oli syöttövirheitä, sekä älyttömän hyviä ja rohkeita hyökkäysyrityksiä.

Parhaat kuskit päivän pelissä olivat meiltä Inka Siekkinen ja kaverin puolelta Milla Makkonen.

Corollaa käytetään huollossa ens viikolla, sillä tuplapeliviikonloppu näkyy jo tavoittelevan meitä. Lauantaina on A-tyttöjen turnaus Nurmossa, ja sunnuntaina jatketaan naisten kakkosta kotona, tuuthan kattelemaan!

Gasoline in the nose at Haukipudas

Ploki’s N2 team’s game progressed today in the away game against Haukiputaan Heitto like a ski lift, writes one of the players, Iisa Pieviläinen.

Sunday’s game progressed like a ski lift, the first one started from the bottom, after which towards the end we were already at the top. The first round started with a 75-century Corolla in the freezing cold of Finland.

Even though the opponent’s fingers were tight, our toes were completely frozen. With the score 8–21, the engine was revved and the offensive game was renewed. However, there was an ice cube in the gear box, which ended the first round with 19–25 points for Scania, who was already gassing along Higway number 4.

In the second round, the biggest faults were fixed thanks to the maintenance men, our Corolla was running out of gas at a good pace. Our Corolla was behind the Scania and the charring was hot, the chase continued for the entire race, when we got alongside, the end of the passing lane was visible. So a batch for 20–25 friends.

Before the start of the third period, we went to refuel. With the power of this, we took a huge lead on our friend’s Scania, the journey continued for a long time with about 5 points in the lead. The Corolla’s gearbox started working, before the situation was 17–11, after which I literally put a pin in the board of the Scania. A fellow competitor screeched alongside, then passed. We ran out of gas, after which we were only got the smell of gasoline in our noses and 22–25 on the scoreboard.

The game was an upswing, in terms of gameplay, we showed hard performances, which from now on it is good to polish to be even better. As an improvement to last week, we were on the field as a team, not individuals. The game saw great attacks, balls were drilled up before they hit the ground and reception improved from last week.

All in all, the game crashed because of our own mistakes, we can’t deny that. Most of the errors were passing errors, as well as incredibly good and brave attacking attempts.

The best drivers in the day’s game were Inka Siekkinen from us and Milla Makkonen from our friend’s side.

The Corolla will be used for maintenance next week, as the doubles weekend is already approaching us. Saturday is the A-girls’ tournament in Nurmo, and on Sunday we’ll continue with the women’s second round at home, come and join us!
