Pojot kotiin ensimmäisestä N2-matsista
Meidän N2-joukkueen kausi lähti voitokkaasti käyntiin, kun napattiin Puijo Wolleyltä kolme pojoa kotisalissa, kirjoittaa joukkueen pelaaja Inka Siekkinen sunnuntaina 2.10. pelatusta ottelusta.
Ottelun ensimmäinen syöttö lähti Puijon päädystä. Me otimme hyvän etumatkan het erän alkuun, peli kuitenki tasoittui erän edetessä. Erän puolenvälin hujakoilla meillä alkoi peli vähän sakkaamaan ja Puijo ottikin muutaman pisteen johdon. Mutta me sitten aikalisällä silmäiltiin tilannetta iha uudesta näkövinkkelistä ja todettiin, että “eiköhän viiä tämä erä”. Voitettiin siis ensimmäinen erä 25–19.
Toinen erä ei lähtenytkään meiltä ihan niin maukkaasti käyntiin kuin oltaisiin haluttu. Alkuerä johdettiin kyllä, mutta sitten homma lässähti. Tehtiin omia virheitä ja näin ollen Puijo laitto vaihetta isommalle ja porskutti erän loppuun asti. Me kuitenkin kirittiin tilanteesta 18–23 tilanteeseen 23–24. Puijo kuitenkin vei erän nimiinsä tiukkojen jatkopallojen jälkeen pistein 24–26.
Kolmas erä taputeltiin selkein pistein meille, otimme erän alkuun hyvän johtoaseman, joka kestikin koko erän ajan. Teimme itse omat pisteemme ja peli sujui hyvin, kunnes erän loppu alkoi häämöttää. Meillä alkoi vanne vähän kiristää päätä ja annettiinkin omilla virheillä vastustajalle useampi piste. Saatiin kuitenki homma kasattua pienen notkahduksen jälkeen ja veimme erän pistein 25–16.
Neljännessä erässä sama hurmos jatkui. Pisteitä ropisi omaan tauluun kuin liukuhihnalta. Oma hyökkäys- ja syöttöpeli toimivat kuin rasvattu. Erityisen hienoa syöttö- ja passipeliä esittänyt Veera Olkkonen oli isossa roolissa erän viimeisellä pisteellä, kun hänen syöttönsä upposivat vastustajan kenttään.
Tämä hieno erä siivitti meidät 3–1 voittoon, viimeinen erä pistein 25–17.
Peli oli nousujohteista, ja tästä on hyvä jatkaa kohti tulevia pelejä. Parhaina pelaajina palkittiin Puijo Wolleysta Laura Heikkilä ja Plokista Sara Piippo, joka takoi pelin aikana 21 pistettä.

Ploki took points home from the first N2 match
Our N2 team’s season got off to a winning start when we grabbed three points from Puijo Wolley in the home game, writes one of Ploki’s players Inka Siekkinen about Sunday’s the 2nd of October match.
The first pass of the match came from Puijo’s end. We took a good lead at the beginning of the set, but the game evened out as the set progressed. Halfway through the set, the game started to slow down a bit, and Puijo took the lead by a few points. But then we looked at the situation from a completely new point of view during the timeout and decided that “we will win this round”. So we won the first set 25–19.
The second batch didn’t start as well as we would have liked. The first set was led, but then things slowed down. We made our own mistakes and thus Puijo stepped up and pushed until the end of the set. However, we spurted from a situation of 18–23 to a situation of 23–24. Puijo won the set after tight follow-up balls with points 24–26.
The third set was played with clear points for us, we took a good lead at the beginning of the set, which lasted throughout the set. We scored our own points and the game went well until the end of the set began to be near. Our rim started to tighten up a bit and we gave the opponent more points with our own mistakes. We managed to get things together after a little slump and won the set with 25–16 points.
In the fourth set, the same charm continued. We got points from like a conveyor belt. Our attack and passing game work like clockwork. Veera Olkkonen, who played a particularly great passing and passing game, played a big role in the end of the match, when her passes sunk into the opponent’s field.
This great set saw us win 3-1, the last set with a score of 25-17.
The game was an upswing, and it’s good to continue from this towards future games. The best players were awarded to Laura Heikkilä from Puijo Wolley and Sara Piippo from Plok, who scored 21 points during the game.
